PHILADELPHIA (AP) -The Philadelphia Eagles will honor former quarterback Randall Cunningham at halftime of their game Sept. 27 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The four-time Pro Bowl quarterback played for the Eagles from 1985-95, and will be joined at the ceremony by his wife, Felicity, his four children and his brother Sam, who played for the New England Patriots.
It’s the first time this decade the team will add to the 27-man club, which also includes two teams. The last time anyone was inducted was 1999, when the 1948 and 1949 championship teams and longtime trainer Otho Davis were honored.
