SAN DIEGO (AP) -Trying to avoid their first regular-season blackout since 2004, the San Diego Chargers have been granted a 24-hour extension by the NFL in an effort to sell out their home opener against Baltimore.
The Chargers have until 1:15 p.m. Friday to sell the remaining 1,100 tickets.
Both of San Diego’s exhibition games were blacked out locally.
