CLEVELAND (AP) - Two Browns players were involved in traffic incidents on Monday.
Wide receiver Greg Little, who has a history of driving troubles, was issued three traffic violations after being stopped at 1 a.m., Cleveland police said. Also, guard Shawn Lauvao got his car stuck on a curb when he drove into a downtown construction zone. Team spokesman Zak Gilbert said Lauvao was not injured and there was no alcohol involved.
Lauvao, who has been sidelined since undergoing ankle surgery last month, was headed toward the team's facility when he inadvertently drove onto the entrance ramp to a new bridge. He attempted to turn his car around and got stuck, Gilbert said. Lauvao's car had to be towed.
Little, who recently settled a ticket for driving with an expired license plate and was ticketed for speeding, was cited for a stop-sign violation, change of course and driving with a suspended license, Sgt. Sammy Moore said.
In April, Little was charged with drag racing after he lost control of his Audi and was involved in a single-car accident. He admitted to driving 127 mph, hit a guardrail, knocked down a light pole and left 40 yards of brake tracks. He was fined $350.
Last month, Little was cited for driving 81 mph in a 60 mph zone.
Browns coach Rob Chudzinski said he spoke with Little about his new traffic offenses. Chudzinski said any discipline for Little would be handled ``in house.''
Little had four catches for 33 yards in the Browns' 14-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
