SEATTLE (AP) -The Seattle Seahawks acquired wide receiver Keary Colbert from the Denver Broncos on Tuesday.
Colbert’s agent, Gary Uberstine, said Tuesday afternoon in an e-mail to The Associated Press that his client is coming to Seattle.
Fox Sports.com first reported the trade. The Seahawks have lost six players to injury at that position this season.
And Koren Robinson also may be returning to the Seahawks.
The Seattle Times is reporting the Seahawks have also agreed to a contract with Robinson. The free agent who played for Green Bay last season started 52 games for Seattle from 2001-04 was a former No. 1 draft choice. Coach Mike Holmgren values Robinson because he already knows his offense.
