RENTON, Wash. (AP) -A person familiar with the deal says the Seattle Seahawks have brought back recently released linebacker D.D. Lewis to reinforce a hurting linebacking unit.
The deal lasts for the remainder of the season and is for the veteran minimum contract, according to the person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the team had yet to announce the deal.
The Seahawks lost starters Lofa Tatupu to a hamstring injury and Leroy Hill to a groin strain during their opening win Sunday against St. Louis.
