CLEVELAND (AP) -Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth, who injured his leg during warmups before the season opener last week, was inactive for Sunday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Stallworth was going to be counted on as another weapon for quarterback Derek Anderson. But he strained a quadriceps while preparing for Cleveland's game last week against the Dallas Cowboys and the Browns missed him in a 28-10 loss.
Cleveland signed the former New England wideout to a seven-year free agent contract in February.
Syndric Steptoe, who spent all of last season on the practice squad, started in Stallworth's spot.
