PITTSBURGH (AP) -Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nate Washington warmed up without apparent problems despite a hamstring injury and was in uniform for Thursday night’s season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, his former team.
Washington left the Super Bowl champions after last season to sign with the Titans, who were seeking a deep receiving threat.
Cook, a third-round draft pick from Florida who aggravated an ankle injury during practice.
As expected, Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons (high ankle sprain) didn’t play after not practicing the week before the game.
