ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -The Buffalo Bills said Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters will end his holdout and report to the team Saturday morning.
Bills chief operating officer Russ Brandon said in a statement Friday that Peters has filed a reinstatement letter with the NFL. But he’s not expected to play in the regular-season opener against Seattle on Sunday.
Peters emerged as one of the top offensive linemen in the league last season, his first at left tackle. He held out in a bid to negotiate the final three years of his contract. The Bills wanted him to play under his current deal for this season before they’d consider opening talks. No details were immediately available about how the standoff was resolved.
