ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) – Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch is set play in the team’s preseason finale against the Detroit Lions after missing nearly three weeks with a sore ankle.
Coach Chan Gailey said Lynch looked good in practice Tuesday. Lynch missed the past two preseason games since being hurt in a loss to Washington.
Last year, he split the starting duties with Fred Jackson, who has been out since breaking a bone in his left hand against the Redskins.
Jackson wore a brace protecting his hand while returning to practice on a limited basis Tuesday. It’s still uncertain whether he will be ready for the Bills opener Sept. 12.
