FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -The New England Patriots have signed veteran punter Chris Hanson and released first-year punter Danny Baugher. The 30-year-old Hanson has 428 punts for 18,347 yards with the Green Bay Packers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has averaged 42.9 yards per punt. He was released earlier this week by the New Orleans Saints. The 22-year-old Baugher was signed to the Patriots' practice squad in October, then assigned to NFL Europa after the season. |
