EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) – Tom Coughlin wants to seen more from the New York Giants, and soon.
The Giants coach says he was disappointed in the intensity the team exhibited in its 24-10 loss to the Ravens in Baltimore on Saturday night. New York has been outplayed in losing its last two games.
With two weeks to go before the season opener against the Carolina Panthers at the New Meadowlands Stadium, Coughlin is hoping his players start playing like there is something on the line.
Coughlin says his starters will play in the preseason finale on Thursday night against the New England Patriots. He refused to say how long they would play, but indicated it would be about a quarter.
