CINCINNATI (AP) -Rookie fullback Stan White of Ohio State and rookie receiver Tony Kays of California-Davis were waived Tuesday by the Cincinnati Bengals, who made five moves to reach the roster limit on the NFL’s first mandatory cut date.
In an expected move, the Bengals also placed linebacker David Pollack on the physically unable to perform list. Pollack broke his neck early last season and won’t play in 2007.
The Bengals got down to 74 players by putting offensive tackle Adam Kieft and defensive end Jimmy Verdon on injury lists. Kieft broke his left foot in an Aug. 18 preseason game against New Orleans, while Verdon hurt a knee while playing in NFL Europe last spring.
