ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -For the third week in a row, the Washington Redskins are facing a top-notch defense.
First it was the Baltimore Ravens. Then came the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now it’s a Friday night test against the New England Patriots for a first-team offense that has yet to score a touchdown in preseason.
Both the Redskins and Patriots are expected to play their starters for the entire first half and possibly into the second.
Washington quarterback Jason Campbell will especially be looking to have a good game. He’s 4 for 13 in preseason, including a 1-for-7 performance last week against the Steelers.
