ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Wide receiver Donovan Morgan was among six players released by the Buffalo Bills on Monday.
Morgan, who spent part of last season on the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad, had four catches for 41 yards in three preseason games with Buffalo. Morgan appeared in three games with Houston in 2005.
Buffalo also released linebacker Roy Manning, cornerbacks Reggie Lewis and Chris Thompson, fourth-string quarterback Kevin Eakin and kicker D.J. Fitzpatrick. The cuts came a day before NFL teams had to reduce their rosters to a maximum of 75 players.
