EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning plans to play this weekend against the Ravens.
Manning says he feels fine after the 12 stitches in the left side of his forehead were removed. He plans to practice wearing a baseball cap Monday and says he’s absolutely certain he’ll be playing Saturday in Baltimore.
The quarterback had the stitches in his head for only four days. He says the three-inch gash has healed. He plans to wear a small bandage at practice.
The team plans to add a little extra padding to his helmet to protect the wound, which occurred last Monday when Manning was hit after his helmet was knocked off in a game against the Jets.
