LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -Albert Haynesworth is accusing the Washington Redskins of underplaying his medical condition in the days leading up to the preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Haynesworth said Saturday night that Mike Shanahan “left out a whole lot of stuff” when the coach said the two-time All-Pro was suffering from “headaches.” Haynesworth speculated that it was done to make the Redskins “look good” and make him “look bad” for missing the team’s offseason conditioning program.
Haynesworth then said he won’t participate in next year’s offseason condition program, either. He also he didn’t think he should have been playing with the backups in the second half of Saturday night’s game.
