NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The Tennessee Titans waived punter Josh Miller on Tuesday and replaced him on the roster by signing defensive back Tuff Harris.
Miller took part in Tuesday morning’s special teams session before being released. Miller signed with the Titans on April 25 and spent all but the final two practices of training camp with the team. He was their second punter on the roster, helping veteran punter Craig Hentrich.
The 38-year-old punter joined the Titans as a chance to work out for other teams. He was with New England last year but was cut so late he couldn’t catch on with another team for the season.
Harris was an undrafted free agent in 2007 out of Montana, who had signed with the Miami Dolphins.
