ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Bills defensive backs Bryan Scott and Drayton Florence sprained their knees in the first half of Buffalo’s preseason game against Chicago.
The Bills did not reveal the extent of the players’ injuries in announcing that both would not return Saturday night. Scott is the Bills’ starting strong safety, Florence is a reserve cornerback.
The Bills were minus receiver Terrell Owens, who is still nursing a sprained toe.
Bears backup running back Kevin Jones started in place of Matt Forte, who was in uniform along the sideline but did not play in the first half.
