FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -New Orleans Saints running back Lynell Hamilton has torn the ACL in his right knee and is expected to miss the entire season.
Hamilton left a joint practice with the New England Patriots on Wednesday after injuring the knee. Team spokesman Greg Bensel said the third-string running back has a torn ACL.
The Saints did get a boost when Reggie Bush returned to practice after missing most of the team drills Tuesday. Bush said he became dehydrated and started cramping up in his legs.
The Saints are practicing with the Patriots this week in preparation for their matchup in Foxborough, Mass., on Thursday night.
