JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -The Jacksonville Jaguars will have as many as 10 players sidelined with injuries Saturday in their preseason opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
Coach Jack Del Rio said receivers Jerry Porter (hamstring) and Reggie Williams (knee), center Brad Meester (biceps), defensive end Jeremy Mincey (wrist), tight end George Wrighster (knee) and safety Chad Nkang (wrist) are on the physically unable to perform list.
In addition, the team could be without defensive back Brian Williams, defensive end Reggie Hayward, wide receiver Troy Williamson and defensive tackle Derek Landri. All had limited practice time this week.
The Jaguars made two roster moves, placing rookie defensive tackle Tywain Myles on the waived-injured list and signing veteran free agent defensive tackle Jesse Mahelona, formerly of the Tennessee Titans.
