SAN ANTONIO (AP) -After 21 practices in 14 days at the Alamodome, the Dallas Cowboys are breaking camp.
They are still far from done.
The Cowboys held a 75-minute walkthrough Friday morning before breaking camp and heading back home for one night. They then travel to Canton, Ohio, for the their preseason opener Sunday night, which is the first of their five preseason games.
Then it’s back home for a short stretch that will end with their second preseason game in five days. After that, the defending NFC East champions still have another two-week segment of camp in Oxnard, Calif.
Linebacker Bradie James says moving around “breaks up the monotony of camp.”
