CORTLAND, N.Y. (AP) -LaDainian Tomlinson is feeling great through three training camp practices, and ready to show he still has plenty left to help the Jets make a Super Bowl run.
The eighth-leading rusher in NFL history says Tuesday he plans to play a lot more in the preseason than he did during his nine years in San Diego. Tomlinson is coming off the worst season of his career but says he has put his Chargers past behind him.
Fellow running back Shonn Greene says Tomlinson is still quick, and coach Rex Ryan says the veteran showed some bounce during practice “where I was like, ‘Wow!”’
