GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers enters his second season as a starter more comfortable, more confident and fully embraced by the fans.
That wasn’t the case last year, when Brett Favre’s unretirement saga split fan loyalties between the team’s once and future leaders. But when Rodgers took the field for the Packers’ first training camp practice Saturday, he heard nothing but cheers.
The Packers were missing only three players from Saturday’s practice: injured linebackers Nick Barnett and Brad Jones, and still-unsigned first-round draft pick B.J. Raji.
