SAN DIEGO (AP) – Chargers wide receiver Vincent Brown missed another practice on Wednesday because of a sore calf.
Brown is hoping for a rebound season, but he hasn’t taken a rep since straining his left calf on Friday, the Chargers’ second day of camp.
After a solid rookie season, Brown’s career has stalled. He broke his left ankle in a 2012 preseason game and was sidelined for the year.
He returned last season, but not to everyone’s expectations. He finished with 41 receptions for 472 yards and one touchdown.
Brown’s injury isn’t considered serious, although he said he doesn’t know when he’ll return. He listed himself as day-to-day.
