SAN ANTONIO (AP) -Cowboys rookie receiver Dez Bryant has been helped off the field by trainers after apparently injuring his right ankle at the end of practice.
Bryant became entangled with a defender while trying to catch a pass near the end of Friday’s practice. When he got up and tried to walk, he grimaced in obvious pain, then sat down on the turf and reached for his right ankle.
Trainers checked on him and helped him off the field. The extent of the injury and the exact nature of it were not immediately known.
