ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -Tim Tebow is missing his second workout while his agent and the Denver Broncos continue hammering out a contract.
Tebow, the 25th pick in the NFL draft, can’t participate in the Broncos’ practices for rookies and players coming off injuries until he signs his deal.
Although his absence means he could be falling farther behind fellow quarterbacks Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn, who shared the snaps again Thursday, Tebow won’t officially become a holdout until Sunday if he remains unsigned.
The sides are trying to work out a deal that’s expected to be worth about $12 million over five years.
