HOUSTON (AP) -Receiver Bethel Johnson and linebacker Zac Woodfin signed one-year contracts with the Houston Texans on Monday.
Johnson caught nine passes for 156 yards for the Minnesota Vikings last season. He played for the New England Patriots from 2003-05.
The 28-year-old Johnson averaged 24.6 yards on 147 career kickoff returns, including two touchdowns of 90-plus yards. He has four touchdown receptions.
Woodfin was out of football last season after playing the final three games of 2005 with Baltimore. He had one tackle.
