BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -NFL agent Terry Bolar has told The Associated Press he’s reached a settlement with his former client, Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrence McGee, in a lawsuit in which the player alleged he was bilked out of more than $1 million.
Bolar says he’s relieved, though he couldn’t discuss details of the deal because of a confidentiality agreement.
A message left with McGee’s attorney, Susan Halpern, was not immediately returned Wednesday night.
In a lawsuit filed in Texas in February 2007, McGee accused financial adviser Craig Curry of funneling money into unauthorized and possibly nonexistent investments. Bolar was named in the suit and accused of conspiracy because he introduced McGee to Curry.
