METAIRIE, La. (AP) -The New Orleans Saints have released Bobby McCray, a defensive end who has been with the team two seasons.
He started all three playoff games last season after a season-ending injury to Charles Grant.
McCray is a six-year NFL veteran out of Florida who signed with the Saints as an unrestricted free agent in 2008. He started eight of 32 regular-season games the past two seasons. He was credited with 41 tackles, 7 1/2 sacks and a forced fumble.
In other moves Monday, the Saints waived reserve cornerback Glenn Sharpe, who spent the end of last season on the practice squad.
