GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -Packers cornerback Al Harris says there’s no doubt he’ll be back helping Green Bay on the field this season after a major knee injury.
Harris spoke Wednesday in his first comments in the Packers locker room since the injury last fall. He says he never thought about calling it quits.
Harris says it was tough watching the Packers reach the postseason without him. Green Bay held its second of four organized team activities on Wednesday.
Harris tore a ligament in his left knee on Nov. 22 against the 49ers while defending San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree. He needed season-ending surgery and there had been questions whether the veteran would return.
