HAMPTON, Va. (AP) -Michael Vick has left his house in Virginia to meet his probation officer at the federal courthouse in Norfolk.
Vick was clearly visible in the passenger seat of a Range Rover as it left his house in Hampton around 9:20 a.m. Friday. A member of Vick’s support team said Vick was headed to a scheduled 10 a.m. appointment with the parole officer.
The trip is the suspended NFL star’s first public appearance since he arrived home early Thursday from a federal penitentiary to begin serving two months of home confinement. Once home, he was fitted with an electronic monitor.
The monitor will track his movements until he is released from federal custody July 20.
The former Atlanta Falcons quarterback is serving a 23-month sentence for a dogfighting conspiracy.
