DALLAS (AP) -The Texas Board of Professional Engineers is investigating the collapse of the Dallas Cowboys’ indoor practice facility.
Spokesman Lance Kinney said the board has opened several lines of inquiry related to the failure of the structure, which fell in heavy wind on Saturday.
The Dallas Morning News, which first reported the investigation Friday, said the investigation includes the city of Irving’s oversight of the project in 2003.
A spokeswoman for the city said Friday that officials would have no comment.
The facility was designed and built by Summit Structures LLC of Allentown, Pa., only months after a similar structure erected by Summit in Philadelphia collapsed during a snowstorm.
