NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The agent for Bo Scaife says the Tennessee tight end will sign his one-year franchise tender and join the Titans’ offseason program Monday.
Agent Kevin Robinson said Scaife had stayed away from the Titans’ offseason program but decided last week to sign the tender of $4.46 million.
Scaife had been working out on his own in Denver.
Robinson said a couple teams expressed interest in trading for Scaife during the NFL Draft, after he led the Titans with a career-high 58 catches and ranked seventh in the league among tight ends last season.
The Titans traded away their second-round pick in next year’s draft to select South Carolina tight end Jared Cook on Sunday.
