INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – General manager Ryan Grigson acknowledges the Colts are going all in to win a Super Bowl this season.
At the same time, he’s still building for the future.
It’s a balancing act for Grigson, who spent millions of dollars on an aging group of veteran free agents during the offseason. He’s still trying to determine what to expect from injured offensive linemen Gosder Cherilus and Donald Thomas, both potential starters, and running back Vick Ballard, who missed all but one game over the past two seasons.
And the Colts are doing all that as coach Chuck Pagano heads into the final year of his contract.
