CINCINNATI (AP) – Receiver Marvin Jones is fully recovered from ankle surgery as the Cincinnati Bengals open their offseason workouts.
Jones says there’s a little soreness in his right ankle, but he’s able to do everything without restriction in the offseason. Jones has been running pass routes to get ready for the season.
He missed all of last season with a broken left foot and bone chips in the right ankle. It was a huge setback for Cincinnati. Jones played in every game, starting three of them, during the 2013 season and had 10 touchdown catches as he developed into the main complement to A.J. Green.
Linebacker Vontaze Burfict is recovering from two knee operations and hasn’t been cleared to work out with the team.
