ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Denver Broncos backup defensive lineman Mitch Unrein signed a one-year, $630,000 free-agent tender Thursday.
Unrein, a three-year veteran, also played offense in a goal-line situation for Denver last season. He caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from Peyton Manning to become the first defensive lineman in team history to score on a reception.
He has 27 tackles and one fumble recovery over the last two seasons.
