GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) – The Green Bay Packers are bringing back size to their defensive line.
The Packers on Tuesday announced they had re-signed defensive tackles Letroy Guion and B.J. Raji. Terms of the deals were not announced.
The return of Guion and Raji allows general manager Ted Thompson to presumably focus on inside linebacker and cornerback in the NFL draft.
The Packers didn’t re-sign veteran inside linebackers A.J. Hawk and Brad Jones in the offseason. In free agency, Green Bay lost Davon House, who signed with Jacksonville; and Tramon Williams, who signed with Cleveland.
Guion started every game in the regular season and playoffs last season. He became a key player after Raji was lost for the season in the preseason with a biceps injury.
