DETROIT (AP) -The agent for Adam “Pacman” Jones says several teams have expressed interest in the cornerback, but no signing is imminent.
Ray Savage told The Associated Press on Friday that the Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals are among the suitors for the troubled player.
Savage says he hopes to set up in-person visits with those teams in the near future.
Lions coach Jim Schwartz said earlier this week that his team was “definitely interested” in signing Jones.
The 26-year-old was suspended for the 2007 season by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for repeated off-field incidents, including six arrests since the Tennessee Titans drafted him in 2005.
The Dallas Cowboys released Jones after the 2008 season. He didn’t play last year.
