ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Bills running back Marshawn Lynch says he expects to be suspended by the NFL for his latest run-in with the law and he’s gotten the message that the league “won’t tolerate any more screw-ups” from him.
Lynch held a 9-minute news conference with reporters on Wednesday, a day after he met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in New York. The meeting was part of the league’s investigation into whether to discipline the Bills starter after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Apologizing for making a mistake and having poor judgment, Lynch came away from the meeting with Goodell believing he’ll be suspended. Lynch expects the decision to be made within 10 days.
