GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) – A month has gone by since the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl, and Donald Driver still can’t wipe the smile off his face – even though the NFL’s uncertain labor situation isn’t far from his mind.
Driver, Greg Jennings and James Jones were back in Green Bay on Monday night to attend the premiere of the team’s official season highlight DVD.
It was another chance for the players to relive the moment, but they couldn’t completely shut out the reality of unresolved negotiations between NFL owners and the players’ union over a new collective bargaining agreement.
Asked if the players might have more leverage than they have in past negotiations, Driver says owners will always have the upper hand.
