INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – The Colts have re-signed long snapper Matt Overton, a move that will keep Indy’s three Pro Bowl special teams players together at least one more season.
Terms of the deal were not immediately available.
Overton played in all 48 games over the past three seasons and played in the 2014 Pro Bowl. Punter Pat McAfee and kicker Adam Vinatieri were both selected to this year’s Pro Bowl.
The move keeps Overton off the free-agent market. He was scheduled to become a restricted free agent next week.
Overton has 22 special teams tackles in the regular season and two more in the playoffs.
