JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -The Jacksonville Jaguars will release veteran defensive end Paul Spicer on Friday.
Jaguars general manager Gene Smith said in a statement released Thursday that Spicer will not be re-signed.
The 33-year-old defensive end has been with the Jaguars since 2000, playing in 115 games with 63 starts. He is one of only seven players to play nine seasons for the Jaguars. He will finish with 28 1/2 sacks, tied for third in team history.
