Nashville-based attorney Worrick Robinson confirmed Wednesday that Jones signed the contract last month for Robinson and Manny Arora to act as his agents.
Jones previously had been represented by Michael Huyghue, now commissioner of the United Football League.
Arora and Robinson have been helping Jones with both the Titans and the NFL over the past year, including his suspension for the 2007 season because of his off-field conduct. They met with the Titans last month to discuss Jones' future with the team.
But Jones, the sixth pick overall in the 2005 draft, must first be reinstated to the league before the Titans are expected to try and trade him. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said before the Super Bowl that he is disappointed with Jones' decision making and indicated Jones' suspension might continue.
``If he needs more time to understand what we expect of him, then I'll accommodate that,'' Goodell said Feb. 1.
nes is under contract with the Titans for three years.
Robinson has been a certified sports agent with the NFLPA since 1998, currently is the agent for Chiefs defensive tackle DeMarcus Tyler and had represented former University of Tennessee receiver Eric Parker.
Arora, who did not return a telephone message left by The Associated Press, was certified by the NFLPA last fall as an agent.
