EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -Punter Jeff Feagles has signed a 2-year contract with the NFL champion New York Giants, a little more than a week after becoming the oldest player to play in a Super Bowl.
Feagles turns 42 next month, and represented himself in contract talks with Giants assistant GM Kevin Abrams.
Terms of the deal weren’t available, but Feagles made $1 million last year in the final year of a five-year contract.
Feagles spent 20 years in the NFL before making it to the Super Bowl, and he says he briefly considered retiring after the Giants 17-14 victory over the New England Patriots.
