DALLAS (AP) – Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Erik Walden did not participate in Saturday’s jog-through practice, putting his availability for the Super Bowl in doubt.
According to a pool report distributed to media, Walden was a bystander for a short morning session at the team hotel. He hurt his ankle in the NFC championship game and is listed as questionable going into Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh.
McCarthy said Walden will be evaluated before Sunday’s game. Frank Zombo would start if he is unable to play.
Wide receiver Donald Driver, who is nursing a quadriceps injury, took part in the jog-through.
