ST. LOUIS (AP) -The flurry of changes for the St. Louis Rams continues with the hiring of Kevin Demoff as executive vice president of football operations and chief operating officer.
Demoff worked as a senior assistant to the general manager at Tampa Bay the past three seasons. In St. Louis, he’ll be responsible for all player contract negotiations and will serve as a liaison to ownership on football and business operations.
Demoff was director of football operations for the Arena Football League’s Los Angeles Avengers for four years before joining the Buccaneers as a consultant in 2005.
The Rams have added several new front office people and coaches since finishing 2-14 in 2008, including the hiring of coach Steve Spagnuolo earlier this month.
