LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) – Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is limping around team headquarters at Halas Hall, reportedly suffering from a torn MCL in his left knee.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported Monday that Cutler has a torn medial collateral ligament suffered in Sunday’s 21-14 loss to Green Bay in the NFC Championship game. The Bears declined comment on Cutler’s injury and his agent didn’t return messages.
Linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa said he feels sympathy for Cutler, who missed most of the second half when Chicago rallied for two touchdowns behind backup Caleb Hanie.
Asked about Cutler on Monday, Hanie said: “He’s limping around and feels bad that we lost.”
