FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) – Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie has used an expletive to describe union and NFL leaders in his latest profanity-filled rant.
Less than two weeks after he used the same obscenity to describe Tom Brady, Cromartie also said Monday that the two sides “need to get their (expletive) together and get it done.”
Cromartie and his teammates were asked about the uncertainty of the labor situation as the Jets headed into their offseason a day after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC championship game. With the collective bargaining agreement set to expire and little progress in negotiations, a potential lockout looms.
Cromartie escalated the trash talk between New York and the Patriots before their divisional playoff game when he ripped the New England quarterback.
