-“I never came here to kiss Bill Belichick’s rings. I came here to win, let’s put it that way.” – June 4, in an interview with New York radio station WFAN.
-“The only thing I can say is, and let’s see if he can top this one: I’ve walked over tougher guys going to a fight than Channing Crowder. … The dude’s going to kill me.” – June 10, getting into a playful war of words with Miami linebacker Channing Crowder.
-“I’m man enough to be me.” – Nov. 19 after crying in front of his team during a meeting.
