RENTON, Wash. (AP) – Seattle linebacker Lofa Tatupu has missed his second straight practice as he recovers from a concussion suffered last weekend.
Tatupu did not participate in practice on Thursday. He still must be cleared to be able to play in Sunday’s NFC divisional playoff against Chicago.
Coach Pete Carroll said earlier in the week that it was “favorable” that Tatupu would clear the league-mandated concussion testing and be able to play against the Bears. Tatupu suffered the concussion on a hard collision with running back Julius Jones late in Seattle’s 41-36 win over New Orleans last Saturday.
Tatupu was third on the team with 88 tackles in the regular season.
